Jewels of gold and light
Even before thinking about going back to school, we wanted to open these holiday journals.
A way to extend summer a little longer and share some of our favorites with you.
Jewels of gold and light
The first of these favorites was in the South of France, when we discovered the boutique-workshop of Anaïs H. Robinson in Biot .
In this place nestled in the heart of the village, the designer imagines and shapes glass jewelry delicately rimmed with gold or silver metal.
Beyond the sublime delicacy of each piece, what touched us was the artisanal gesture, the suspended time of the creations, the pleasure of working with gentleness .
An approach that reflects who we are: less but better .
Jewelry like pearls of water
Her jewelry evokes those beads of water that trickle down windows after a summer storm.
As children, we watched them slide across the windowpane, waiting for the sun to return so we could see them light up with a thousand sparkles.
Anaïs has captured its magic. She shapes each of these tiny glass drops and offers us the rare pleasure of holding light in our hands .
The legacy of the glassblowers of Biot
As a child, she simply fell in love with the fascinating art of the glassblowers who make Biot famous.
Today, she has joined the village artisans and helps to keep this know-how alive. But she also brings her own signature to it: a light, airy poetry, full of finesse and discretion — just like her.
Each glass bead is hand-circled to preserve the authenticity and unique character of the piece.
The pendants are sometimes mounted on reworked chains, adding yet another touch of exceptionality to each piece.
A timeless shop
In her boutique Beloï Tanta , Anaïs works alone, surrounded by the luminous bursts of her creations.
Fresh flowers, bought at the market that very morning, sit alongside jewelry. The atmosphere is soft and peaceful. People enter out of curiosity… and gladly linger.
The beauty of imperfection
It's difficult to capture this feeling in a few photos. Glass droplets rarely allow themselves to be captured in all their purity.
Through them is always reflected a detail, a fragment of light, a movement that makes them almost elusive.
It is only when you hold one in the palm of your hand that you discover the perfect imperfection of each pendant: its individuality, its singularity.
And suddenly, without really knowing why, we know that this one is ours .
