A collaboration you'll fall in love with
This summer, we had the chance to collaborate, for a photoshoot, with a designer whose work we deeply admire.
It all started with a crocheted raffia pouch. Isabelle then had the idea of adding vintage stones and antique jewelry. Then, the magic happened: her talent did the rest, giving birth to a unique and sublime piece signed Pylabronx .
Raffia and semi-precious stones
This second favorite comes from Pyla-sur-Mer , on the Arcachon basin.
Isabelle Brucher-Dolezon works with raffia — a natural material derived from palm trees native to Madagascar — and combines it with jewelry, semi-precious stones and colorful fabrics.
Entirely handmade, her creations are simply wonderful.
What appeals to us?
The idea, the colors, the originality… but also the upcycling of forgotten jewelry . These discarded items find a new life and become true contemporary treasures.
An approach that particularly resonates with us: less but better .
Pouches like jewelry
Semi-precious stones, raffia, chains, gold thread and fabrics are assembled with patience and precision.
The multicolored stones, delicately encircled with gold thread, lend each pouch a precious and refined touch . Some are coordinated with fabrics from the GKero brand, with which Pylabronx has collaborated for two years.
Two pouch sizes allow you to keep your essentials close at hand. They then become much more than an accessory: a true gem to accompany the warmer weather.
One piece of advice: let yourself be guided by your heart's desire when it appears. Because each piece is unique… and when it disappears, you have to wait for the next one. But that's also the charm of these creations: letting one design pass you by and discovering that another, very quickly, sweeps you off your feet.
Timeless and ever more beautiful
Over time, the raffia softens and develops a delicate patina, revealing an even warmer color. Beads from forgotten jewelry regain their luster, while the chain can be easily cleaned with a little soapy water.
Through its creations, the brand breathes new life into these jewels, long kept in boxes for the memories they hold. Special orders can even be made from these personal pieces. Each time, it's a special emotion to see these precious treasures reborn in our hearts .
A growing collection
The range has recently been enriched with an ultra-limited edition bracelet and cushions, still made around the work of raffia, signature of all Pylabronx creations.
